The purpose of this blog post is to highlight our updated target audience transcript which highlights one of our colleagues to observe our music video; as we have finished the editing and rendering, and after we began to question him with new questions instead of just questionnaire questions. The implementation of new questions helps our group to receive more in depth answers that will encourage more detail thus easily helping us to fix and alter the music video to a high, professional standard.

We gained huge inspiration from the 1970s Cop TV show  Starsky & Hutch with their introduction of the characters by using a still image of the actor and the addition of text that displays the actors real name and their character's name. We believed the style and retro quality scheme easily  linked and matched our music video of 'Stayin' Alive' as both of them where released in around the same time of the era. The implementation of this style also portrays to the audience  exactly who is playing what role in the music video so they can easily identify  us with the costumes. Linking to the retro/futuristic style that became very popular in the 1970's, we incorporated the colour scheme from 'Miami Vice' (another popular American Cop TV show) thus creating the vintage overall artistic style that we intended to re-create and replicate in our music video. The purpose of this post is to illustrate our creation into our band's own website, as website building is usually very expensive and complicated to produce we decided to use the free website builder 'Wix' which is great. Wix was the perfect web builder for us because we wanted to create the most professional/ amateur band company with no budget; but also this website builder is easy to follow and simple so that even students like us can create a high standard and professional looking website. We decided to include the modern/ high quality images of American cities and buildings so play on the juxtaposition and contrast from the retro atmosphere that we incorporated into our music video, the modern-looking website helps our band expose and gain publicity for our target audience and it is easily accessible for the intended audience to view our media due to technology evolving.   As we are only making this band for our A2 Media Studies coursework some of the widg...

We have combined our digi pack with a modern pop and 70's funk album, this is shown through the vibrant colours which represent the 70's style and the modern style is shown through the use of the font and the images used. The woman's lips help reintroduce our idea of the album name of blue cherry as we photoshopped a normal cherry image from google and imported it by cropping and layering it into her lips, then we zoomed in and implemented the colouring tool and carefully coloured in both her lips and the cherry thus helping it to link back to the name. Our artistic decisions and intentions of minimalism which efficiently coincides with our overall band image that we wanted to create and produce a blue colour scheme.
