Merchandise - Alex

The images below highlight the creation of our band's merchandise; the two items we have created are a polo shirt and a t-shirt. We gained inspiration from the skater/luxurious brand OFF-WHITE due to the simplicity in style and artwork printed on their t-shirts. We also wanted to create a modern/past overall style for our merchandise with some influence of the 1980's style such as the implementation of a moustache as they are heavily linked and seen as a trend of the 1980's. Furthermore on our t-shirt design; we decided to create the effect of jail bars with white lines located on the back of the t-shirt to signify the high crime rate due to drugs and other crimes.

Moodboard Ideas + Fashion - Alex

A mood board is extremely useful for establishing the aesthetic feel of the overall atmosphere and layout of my music video. The use of a mood board helps to visualise and structure the specific clothing and colours that were associated in the 1970's e.g open shirts with a big collar and also chino/suit pants that are high waisted. As the style of clothing is retro and vintage we will be travelling to different locations such as second hand shops and charity shops to help us afford an outfit that will appeal and correspond to our desired atmosphere of funk in our music video. At first we planned to not use any green-screen but because of some problems that we encountered we ended up having to use a lot of green-screen but we feel that it turned out very well. However, we did not want to video all of it using green-screen so we used parts of our school where it was quite for our videoing.

Questionnaire - Sam

We have created this questionnaire to help us to understand what kind of target audience we are looking to attract with our music video. Judging by the song choices we have made we will be attracting older people however, this questionnaire will help us to find out if that is true. It will help to get an idea of how well our concept will be received. We will distribute this to 20 people to gain further feedback and we will create a series of charts and analyse the data to assist with the making of our video.
